272. Coffee is a lifestyle

Srsly. Once you start, you can`t stop. Coffee is the new gateway drug.

Street names include Brewtus, Joe, Cuppa, Java, Go Juice, Morning Mud, Rocket Fuel, Wakey Juice.

Nutritional factors are slim to none.
But its deliciousness has potential to stun.

A human being can go weeks without food. Sometimes, I can only go hours without coffee before I have a meltdown due to a four hour sleep.

Non-addicts question my intentions: "Why don`t you just sleep longer? Why infuse that black liquid into your body with hardly any nutritional value?" They warn me: "Don`t drink the kool-aid!" (err...coffee)

But how can I not? Its delicious murkiness calls my name every morning, every afternoon, and sometimes at night (only when working on a paper or studying for an exam and in dire need of a wake-up call). There are only so many hours in a day, not enough to finish everything on my to-do lists.

I was not always like this. I used to be a tea drinker of sorts, with the occasional soda. But after getting my first job that started at 07:30 hours this past summer, I began to see the necessity of changing my lifestyle from  chai to coffee. I learned so much from my coworkers; how to make a pot of coffee, what to put in it - I even learned to combine chai and coffee! Soon enough I had no other choice but to resort to the lifestyle of coffee. And what a rewarding lifestyle it is. I can get everything done in the time allotted without dozing off! So join me on this journey with the gateway drug...enjoy:)

BTWS; Mcdonalds has free coffee. Do it.
